Well it’s been about a while since I’ve done anything with this site.

I originally had grand ambitions for it as a vehicle for promoting Staging Area but I always lost track of it (Staging Area production times and issues in meatspace surely haven’t helped much either).

After about 4ish years, I thought it was finally the time to make it right.  I’ve recently began to upgrade my online presence by taking all of my social media accounts and making them visually similar to each other (new avatars and header images across the board).  My aim is to have all of those accounts direct back to this site).  Essentially making this the hub of my online presence.

This will take some time, but it will look damn nice in the end.

Well, the December 2013 deadline for episode 02 has come and gone and nothing materialized.  I’ve been swinging my focus into other projects because I don’t feel that the quality of video I’ve been shooting lately is up to spec.  Mainly due to the low quality shots with the new camera being to blame 😦

Until I am able to secure a new camera with decent HD recording capabilities, Staging Area will be put on hiatus.

In the meantime, I can still be found doing a weekly news show called Newsreal on RantRadio Talk every Thursday night at 2200hrs EST (for now).  Live broadcasts can be attended in SecondLife at the following coordinates:

I figured that it was high time to post another update about the series.

Have been filming off and on for the last few months.  The new camera (last one stolen) seems to have crappy video when zooming in (gets all blurry and what not).  Kinda disappointing.  So the next few episodes will have varying quality compared to episode 01.  Oh well, that’s life.

Also, I am redoing the segment transitions that I use in Staging Area.  Switching from the default editing software options to custom title cards for each segment as well as opening and closing credits.  Should provide a nicer appearance for the show overall.  Even episode 01 is being redone with the new transitions.

I am aiming for episode 02 and the re-release of episode 01 to occur sometime in December if all goes according to plan.
